Jio launches Rs 601 plan for unlimited 5G data and gifting
Mumbai: If you’re a Jio subscriber searching for an economical way to enjoy unlimited 5G data, the Rs 601 plan might be ideal for you.
This annual plan provides unlimited 5G data and can also be gifted to friends or family. Here’s how it works:
Eligibility Criteria:
To use the unlimited 5G benefit, you need to be on an active Jio recharge plan offering at least 1.5 GB of 4G data daily.
Popular plans like Rs 199, Rs 239, and Rs 299 qualify. However, basic plans such as 1 GB per day or the Rs 1,899 annual recharge are ineligible.
What you get with the Rs 601 Voucher:
Purchasing the Rs 601 Jio True 5G gift voucher gives you 12 upgrade vouchers. These vouchers can be redeemed one at a time through the My Jio app. Each activation provides unlimited 5G data and boosts your daily 4G data limit to 3 GB.
The voucher’s validity depends on your base plan, capped at 30 days per voucher. For instance, if your base plan is valid for 28 days, the 5G benefits will last for 28 days during that period.
With 12 vouchers included in the plan, you can activate them as needed over a 12-month period.
Compatible Plans:
The Rs 601 voucher works with a range of recharge plans, including Rs 199, Rs 239, Rs 299, Rs 319, Rs 329, Rs 579, Rs 666, Rs 769, and Rs 899. Ensure your base plan is active when redeeming a voucher.
Other 5G Plans from Jio:
Jio also offers shorter-duration 5G upgrade plans priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151, valid for one, two, and three months respectively. These are perfect for those wanting to try Jio’s 5G services or meet short-term requirements.
The plan can be also purchased for friends or family directly through the My Jio app. However, ensure the recipient is subscribed to an eligible plan to activate the voucher.
