Kolkata, July 24 (IBNS): Indian tractor manufacturer Sonalika International Tractors on Friday unveiled their new model DI 750 III Rx in Kolkata.

The new variant comes with bigger tyres  with size of 16.9 x 28.

The company claims that the technology used in the tractor would help to produce more power at even lower RPM, along with greater load carrying capacity due to the enlarged size of the tyre, helping the farmers to achieve more work output.

It has been mentioned that DI 750III Rx has features like a speed of 33.75Km/h, highest PTO power, superior technology with advanced features like optional power steering which helps to reduce the turning effort.

R.K. Singh, President Sales and Marketing, Sonalika ITL said: “In the past few years, we have received encouraging response for our products from West Bengal. To cater to the growing demand of higher HP tractors with bigger tyre size of 16.9x28. This model is well appreciated in our progressive markets like Punjab and Haryana. Through this launch we aim to further strengthen our market reach in north east. Besides, as a part of our growth strategy for West Bengal market, we plan to invest in creating sustainable dealer partnership. This will improve supporting these dealers with knowledge and infrastructure to cater to new and existing customers. This development will create job opportunities for people and in turn will involve training and skill development of people in the region.”

“With our customer centric approach, we focus on empowering our farmers by providing solutions/products that will enhance their agricultural productivity. Each of our products is economically designed to give best performance in most strenuous conditions. Going forward, we plan to remain robust with our focus in the region. We believe that our products will increase farmer’s productivity and efficiency by enabling them to earn more and save more. With the trust of over 6 lakh patrons in around 100 countries across the globe, Sonalika ITL is today the most preferred tractor company internationally,” he  added.

On asking about the manufacturing capacity of the company, B.N Pandey, Zonal Head told IBNS: ”Our current capacity is 75,000 tractors but our market share growth has increased from 8% to 12%. This plant has a capacity of producing 2 lakh tractors, per annum. Sonalika is also starting its new Sonalika World Plant, which is a big initiative by our Prime Minister, Modi of ‘make it India’ concept.”
