Petrol, diesel prices continue to rise
New Delhi, Sept 7 (IBNS): The petrol and diesel prices in several metropolitan cities continued to rise even on Friday, media reports said.
In Delhi, petrol prices rose by Rs. 0.48/litre to Rs. 79.99/litre.
In Mumbai, petrol prices increased by Rs. 0.48/litre to Rs. 87.39/litre.
Diesel prices rose to Rs. 72.07/litre (up by Rs. 0.52/litre) in Delhi while Rs. 76.51/litre (up by Rs. 0.55/litre) in Mumbai.
This is the second consecutive day when the fuel prices rose after a gap of a day on Sept 5.
