Petrol, diesel prices hiked

New Delhi, Nov 5 (IBNS): Petrol and diesel prices were increased on Saturday, officials said.

While petrol price was hiked by 89 paise per litre, diesel was increased by 86 paise per litre, as per the state-run Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) website.

"Increase in Selling Price of Petrol by Rs. 0.89/litre (excluding State levies) ," read the IOC website.

"Increase in Selling Price of Diesel by Rs. 0.86/litre (excluding State levies)," it said.

The new price will come to effect from midnight  tonight.
