PRSI Kolkata to train public relation professionals in data analytics and other key areas

Kolkata/IBNS:  Public Relations Society of India, Kolkata Chapter, has decided to hold seminars and workshops to train public relation (PR) professionals in new areas which would help them strategize corporate communications.

The new areas where PR professionals will be imparted training in were artificial intelligence, block chain and data analytics.

The decision was taken at the 51st Annual General Meeting of the chapter held on August 1 this year.

At the meeting, the chapter also elected its office bearers for the next two years, including Soumyajit Mahapatra as Chairman, Subhash Mohanty as Vice Chairman, Chitralekha Banerjee as Secretary, and Yasmin Khatoon  as Treasurer.

The AGM was attended by Dr. Ajit Pathak (National President), Samir Goswami (Past National President), Y Babji (National Secretary-General), M S Majumder (National Vice President, East) and Rita Bhimani (CEO, Ritam Communications).
