Mumbai/IBNS: The Rupee on Thursday slipped by 13 paise to close at 73.65 against the US Dollar on rising demand for greenback by bankers and  importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Rising by 12 paise on Tuesday, the local unit tumbled down  by 22 paise to 73.74 in early trade, till the end of the day it slightly improved from opening level but ended negative only at 73.65, dropped by 13 paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee improved owing to firm Dollar against other world currencies, amid weak stock  market, they further said.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.78 and 73.60 respectively, they added.
