Sensex drops by 71 points

Mumbai, Dec 17 (IBNS): The Sensex dropped for the fifth straight session on Wednesday.

At the end of the day, Sensex closed at   26710.13points, down by  71 points.

The Nifty ended 37 points down at 8029.80 points.
