Tata Power bags two prestigious awards at the 55th Association of Business Communicators Awards Nite 2016

Mumbai/ Kolkata, Mar 22 (IBNS): Tata Power, India's largest integrated Power Company has won two prestigious communication awards at the 55th 'Association of Business Communicators of India' (ABCI) Awards Nite 2016.

Tata Power has bagged 2 distinct awards in categories – ‘Special Column Award' and ‘Civic & Moral Values’

ABCI is the only association of its kind in India to promote excellence in business communications. The association organizes Annual Awards Nite to recognize and reward outstanding talent in the profession of business communications.

Enerji Talk, Tata Power's internal magazine reaching about 4000 employees won Bronze for its Travelogue section in the category of ‘Special column award’. Travelogue is a quarterly double spread in the magazine and includes personal experiences of employees travelling to various destinations.

Appreciating efforts for awareness of civic and moral values, Tata Power’s Club Enerji has been awarded bronze for its ‘Civic & Moral Values Booklet’. The booklet talks about the qualities of an ideal citizen, and what qualities can be inculcated in children for them to become responsible citizens.

Speaking on the occasion,  Anil Sardana, CEO and Managing Director, Tata Power said, "We are honoured to be recognized and to have received these prestigious awards in the field of Business Communications. It encourages us that our team efforts towards internal communications and promoting awareness towards moral and civic values through our brand property, Club Enerji has been appreciated by the jury members. I thank the jury members for recognizing the hard work put in across various domains by the Tata Power team members who made this possible".

ABCI is India's largest non-profit organization for Business communications professionals since 1957. ABCI builds the Business Communications profession and the public relations profession. Comprising of nearly 1,000 members, it represents business and industry, technology, counseling firms, government, associations, and hospitals, schools for communications, professional services firms and non-profit organisations.
