Volvo Auto to open four showrooms across India
Kolkata, Apr 29 (IBNS) Swedish luxury car maker Volvo Auto India is strengthening its foothold in the country by opening its 4 showrooms across key cities within the next one month, said the company on Tuesday.
The showrooms have a true Scandinavian ambience, with a ‘Cool on the outside’ and ‘Warm on the inside’ feel; it is a very modern and contemporary looking showroom having an ‘inviting interior design’, said the company.
Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India said, “Taking our philosophy of ‘Designed Around You’ a step further, we are happy to bring the all new Volvo Retail Experience at 4 new locations. With the new dealers, VAI is confident of expanding its market share and creating more patrons for its brand. We will continue to grow as we start sales with 15 functional dealerships across key cities, generating a strong brand eminence”.
"The West Delhi and Surat dealership is owned by our existing dealers Mr. Jaipal in Gurgaon by the name Swede Auto and by Mr. Dhaval Thakkar in Ahmedabad by the name Autobots itself respectively," he said.
The Chandigarh Dealership is owned by Mr. Sumit Passi from Krishna Group. They are in the automobile business since 1967 and have dealerships of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, JCB Earth Moving Equipment, Honda 2-wheelers, Skoda Auto Passenger Cars, BMW Passenger Cars and other premium passenger cars.
OSL Scandinavian is a part of Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL), the flagship company of OSL group started during 1978, under the leadership of Mr. Mahimananda Mishra which is at present a leading Shipping company in India and handles over 35 Million Tons of cargo per annum in East Coast of India. It is one of the biggest Automobile dealership business houses in East. They have a huge existing database of segment customers and knowledge of premium customers in East with a coverage of upcountry markets like Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand and Northeast.
The new showrooms will have all the cars lines available for the prospective consumers.
