Bengaluru: Leading IT firm Wipro on Tuesday announced a partnership with chip-maker NVIDIA aimed at expediting the integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare enterprises.

According to a company statement, Wipro intends to implement NVIDIA's AI software designed for enterprise applications to deploy AI across its existing range of healthcare solutions within the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicare, and Medicaid domains.

Nagendra Bandaru, President and Managing Partner of Wipro Enterprise Futuring, said that this collaboration will empower both companies to introduce AI-driven innovations on a large scale in the healthcare sector by incorporating advanced computing capabilities.

Through the incorporation of these technologies into Wipro's Enterprise Generative AI (WeGA) framework, the company aims to collaboratively develop and deploy customized models for AI applications such as speech and translation, along with other Language Model Models (LLMs).
