Covid-19: Maharashtra records 569 new cases and two deaths in 24 hours

Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra recorded 569 new cases of Covid-19 and two virus related deaths during the past 24 hours, said the health bulletin released by the Health department on Thursday.

Out of the 569 cases, 211 cases were reported from Mumbai and one fatality and the second death was reported from Pimpri Chinchwad in Pune district.

Maharashtra's coronavirus fatality rate currently stands at 1.82 per cent.

According to the state health bulletin data, 485 patients recovered from the coronavirus infection during the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recovery count to 79,94,545 and leaving the state with an active caseload of 3,874.
