New Delhi: Ten fully vaccinated international travellers, including a few who have received the booster doses of Covid-19 vaccines, were infected with Omicron variant in Delhi on Friday, pushing the city's tally to 20 so far, officials told UNI.

The patients recently travelled from Tanzania (1), Belgium (1), the UK (4) and Dubai (4).

The patients are asymptomatic and under treatment at the Omicron-dedicated facility in the Delhi Govt-run LNJP hospital.

A senior doctor from the team looking after the Omicron facility said at least three of the patients have received booster shots of Covid vaccines and all of them are asymptomatic.

"They have only complained of sore throat so far," the doctor said.
