Haryana: 94 fresh COVID-19 cases registered

Chandigarh/UNI:  Haryana registered 94 fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking the infection tally to 13,507 in the state.

According to an official health bulletin, 54 fresh cases have been reported from Gurugram district, nine from Charkhi Dadri, seven from Kaithal, five each from Palwal, Jhajjar, Panipat and Nuh, two from Yamunanagar and one new case each from Kurukshetra and Rewari districts.

Of the 218 fatalities till now, 83 deaths have been reported from Gurugram district, 71 from Faridabad, 16 from Sonepat, seven each from Rohtak and Panipat, six each from Hisar and Karnal, five from Rewari, four each from Jhajjar and Jind, three each from Bhiwani and Ambala, two from Palwal, while one death was reported from Charkhi Dadri district.

Till now, Gurugram has reported the highest number of infections in the state with 5,124 confirmed cases, followed by Faridabad 3,325, Sonepat 1157, Rohtak 527, Bhiwani 407, Ambala 309, Palwal 303, Karnal 273, Jhajjar 240, Mahendergarh 237, Rewari 236, Hisar 214, Nuh 182, Panipat 171, Kurukshetra 114, Panchkula 108, Jind and Yamunanagar 100 each, Fatehabad 99, Sirsa 97, Kaithal 85, Charkhi Dadri 78 and 21 US-returnee Haryana citizens.
