India once again registers over 4000 daily deaths due to COVID-19

New Delhi: India, one of the worst hit nations in the world, continued to record high daily casualties due to COVID-19 as 4209 fresh deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Friday.

The death toll due to the disease now stands at 291331.

In the past 24 hours,  2,59,591 new COVID19 cases have been recorded.

So far, 2,27,12,735 discharges have been recorded.

There are 30,27,925 active cases in the country at present.
