India records 25,920 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 25,920 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.

During the same period, 492 people died due to the deadly virus.

India's active caseload currently stands at 2,92,092.

Active cases stand at 0.68 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.12 percent.

During the past 24 hours, 66,254 recoveries were recorded.

Daily positivity rate now stands at 2.07 percent.
