India registers 1,088 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 1,088 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as the country's daily positivity rate touched 0.25 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

During the same period, 26 people died due to the viral infection.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 10,870.

Active cases stand at 0.03 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.76 percent.

1,081 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
