India registers 1,549 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 1,549 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours with the daily positivity rate touching  0.40 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.

In the past 24 hours, 31 people died due to the virus.

During the same period, 2,652 people recovered from the deadly disease.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 25,106.

Active cases stand at 0.06 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.74 percent.
