India registers 2,208 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 2,208 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as the daily positivity rate touched  1.55 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.

India's active caseload currently stands at 19,398.

Active cases stand at 0.04 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 98.77 percent.

3,619 people recovered from the disease during the same period.
