India registers 2,38,018 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, positivity rate reduces to 14.43 percent

New Delhi: India registered a minor reduction in daily count as 2,38,018 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

The virus left 310 people dead in the past 24 hours.

So far, the country has recorded 8,891 Omicron cases.

The country's daily positivity rate now stands at 14.43 percent.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 17,36,628.

Active cases stand at 4.62 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 94.09 percent.

1,57,421 recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours.
