India registers 2,706 new COVID-19 cases, 25 deaths

New Delhi: India registered 2,706 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as the daily positivity rate touched 0.97 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.

The viral infection left 25 people dead in the past 24 hours.

India's active caseload currently stands at 17,698.

Active cases stand at 0.04 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 98.74 percent.

2,070 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
