India registers 29398 new COVID-19 cases, 414 deaths
New Delhi: India, one of the worst COVID-19 hit nations in the world, registered 29,398 infections in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Friday.
The new addition of cases took the total number of infections registered by the so far to 97,96,770.
During the period of 24 hours, 414 deaths due to the infection were recorded.
So far, 9290834 people have been discharged from hospitals.
There are currently 363749 active cases.
The virus is believed to have originated from China last year.
