India registers over 41000 Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours
New Delhi/IBNS: India added 41,810 new infections of coronavirus in the last 24 hours taking the country's total tally to 93,92,919 cases, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday.
During this period, a total of 496 deaths were reported which pushed the fatalities toll to 1,36,696.
As of Sunday, 88,02,267 people have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the recovery rate to 93.71 per cent.
Currently, there are 4,53,956 active cases in the Asian country.

PM Modi on Saturday visited Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad and Bharat Biotech facility Hyderabad to know more about the indigenous vaccines being developed by Zydus Cadila and Bharat Biotech.
"At the Bharat Biotech facility in Hyderabad, was briefed about their indigenous COVID-19 vaccine. Congratulated the scientists for their progress in the trials so far. Their team is closely working with ICMR to facilitate speedy progress," PM Modi tweeted on Saturday.
