India witnessing surge again, registers 4,518 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours
New Delhi: India is once again witnessing a rise in COVID-19 cases as 4,518 fresh instances were reported in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.
The daily positivity rate touched 1.62 percent.
During the past 24 hours, nine people died due to the deadly virus.
India's active caseload currently stands at 25,782.
Active cases stand at 0.06 percent.
Recovery Rate currently at 98.73 percent.
2,779 people recovered from the viral infection in the past 24 hours.
