India's Omicron tally touches 1700
New Delhi: India's Omicron tally touched 1,700 as fresh cases were reported in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.
In the past 24 hours, 33,750 overall new COVID-19 cases were registered.
10,846 recoveries were also registered during the period.
India's active caseload currently stands at 1,45,582.
Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.
It currently stands at 0.42 percent.
Recovery Rate is now 98.20 percent.
Maharashtra tops the list of Omicron cases registered at 510.
Several Indian states, including West Bengal, have reimposed fresh restrictions to deal with the rising COVID-19 cases.
