Indonesia: Fresh 6.2M quake strikes Lombok, triggers panic

Jakarta, Aug 9 (IBNS): A new earthquake measuring 6.2 magnitude in the Richter Scale struck Indonesia's Lombok region on Thursday afternoon, triggering panic.

The region is already reeling under a quake, which hit on Sunday.

At least 131 people have died, official reports said.

However, local news outlets have reported the figure in excess of 300.

Over 1,400 have been injured while 156,000 people have left homeless.

Meanwhile, the casualty in Thursday's quake is not yet known.
