Maharashtra: Akola registers 47 new nCoV cases, three deaths

Akola/UNI:  As many as 47 more tested positive for coronavirus in Maharashtra’s Akola district on Saturday, district officials said.

With this, the total number of patients here has gone up to 1664.

While total 1222 have been discharged so far.

According to the official at least 47 new positive patients were found today in the district. Of the 47, 15 are women and 32 men.

Unfortunately, on Saturday three more deaths have been reported here, taking the death toll to 87, the official added.

Akola is known as the city with the highest number of coronavirus victims in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.
