Maharashtra reports 4,205 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra has reported 4,205 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to a health bulletin released on Saturday.

The state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 79,54,445, while the overall toll stood at 1,47,896 with three new deaths reported.

The bulletin said 3,752 patients were cured of the virus and discharged, taking the recovery count to 77,81,232.

The state's recovery rate significantly came down to 97.83 per cent and the fatality rate stood at 1.86%.

Presently, there are 25,317 active Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, it added.

Meanwhile, no positive cases were reported across in the four districts of Marathwada region, the bulletin said.
