| @indiablooms | Jul 19, 2021, at 11:10 pm

Kathmandu/UNI: Nepal on Monday started the inoculation campaign of the single-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine, this is the third COVID-19 vaccine approved for public use in the country.

Nepal received a shipment of 1.5 million doses of Johnson and Johnson vaccines donated by the United States under the COVAX facility on July 12. This is a very welcome development as the country grapples with a shortage of vaccines.

Covishield (AstraZeneca) and the Vero Cell, are the other two vaccines that have been approved for use in the country till now.
