Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, posted photos of his dog, Floki, posing as the social media platform's new chief executive.

In front of the adorable dog-Shiba Inu-lay a few papers, a compact laptop, and a black T-shirt adorned with the Twitter logo and the title of CEO.

Sharing the tweet, Elon Musk wrote, "The new CEO of Twitter is amazing."

"So much better than the other guy," he added in a follow-up tweet.

"He's great with numbers!," wrote Musk in another tweet.

Following his tweets, the crypto market saw a rise in canine cryptos-Doge, Floki and SHIB.

According to CoinDesk data, the price of DOGE has risen 5.4% meanwhile, Floki, which takes its name from Musk's dog, is up 41% over the past 24 hours.

After acquiring the social networking platform on Oct 27 last year, Musk took over as CEO of Twitter, replacing Parag Agrawal.

After losing an online poll, Musk reportedly started searching for a new CEO for Twitter in December.

He stated that he would step down from his position as CEO once he discovers someone willing to take on the responsibility, and then focus solely on managing the software and servers departments.
