EPFO recommends hike in interest rate on PF deposits to 8.65 pc for FY 18-19

New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on Thursday recommended a hike in the interest rate on PF deposits of its subscribers from 8.55 percent to 8.65 percent for the financial year 2018-19.

The decision was taken in the board trustees meeting held on Thursday.

This is the first increase in the interest rate since 2016.

The move is likely to benefit six crore subscribers of the pension body.
