Flipkart announces new additions to leadership team
Bangalore, Nov 12 (IBNS): E-commerce marketplace Flipkart on Wednesday announced the addition of two new members to leadership positions within the company.
The positions announced are the Vice President of Fashion (Retail) and the Vice President of HR (Supply-Chain).
Rishi Vasudev joins Flipkart as the new Vice President- Fashion (Retail).
Rishi brings with him over 15 years of experience in the fashion and retail industry with his last stint being the CEO of Calvin Klein India.
Starting his career with the Aditya Birla Group, Rishi has worked with companies like Louis Philippe, Arvind Brands- where he led the end-to-end makeover for brands like Arrow, Gant and Izod.
In his new role Rishi will spearhead P&L for all fashion categories at Flipkart.

Parameswaran Balakrishnan joins the organization as Vice President- HR for supply chain. His role will involve driving all business partnering, talent acquisition and functional L&D for supply chain at Flipkart.
Parameswaran has over 2 decades of experience working with large organizations like Toyota and Tata Motors.
