New Delhi/UNI: Petrol and diesel prices remained stable in the domestic market for the 11th consecutive day on Wednesday due to softening of crude oil abroad.

In overseas markets, London Brent crude oil has fallen below $ 68 a barrel.

The petrol is currently priced at Rs 91.17 per litre in Delhi and diesel at Rs 81.47 per litre, both the prices were increased by 24 paise and 15 paise per litre respectively on February 27, a record level across the country.

According to Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a state-owned oil marketing company, today the prices of both these fuels will be stable.

According to the analysts, the stability in the fuel prices is owed to the upcoming assembly elections in four states and one union territory in the country.
