Global crude oil price of Indian Basket was US$ 40.21 per bbl on Friday

New Delhi, Apr 18 (IBNS) The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as published on Monday Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 40.21 per barrel (bbl) on Friday. This was lower than the price of US$ 40.66 per bbl published on Thursday.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs. 2671.41 per bbl on Friday compared to Rs 2700.85 per bbl on Thursday. Rupee closed at Rs 66.43 per US$ on Friday. As the Reserve Bank of India reference rate for Thursday and Friday were not available, PPAC used the reference rate of Wednesday.
