Indian benchmark indices end higher on Tuesday

Mumbai, Oct 24 (IBNS): The Indian market ended higher on Tuesday, with BSE Sensex up 100.62 points at 32,607.34 and NSE Nifty up 22.80 points at 10,207.70.

According to media reports, Reliance Industries toucedh Rs 6 lakh crore mark in market capitalisation for first time ever, after hitting a fresh record high in early trade.

Top gainers on Tuesday included Asian paints, Zee Entertainment, SBI, NTPC, UPL, ONGC and HUL while Tata Motors (D), Tata Motors, HCL Tech, Infosys, IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank, Tech Mahindra, Sun Pharma and Lupin declined.
