Indian benchmark indices end lower on Wednesday

Mumbai, Oct 11 (IBNS): The Indian market ended lower on Wednesday and NSE Nifty failed to hold on to its 10,000 mark, according to media reports.

BSE Sensex fell 90.42 points at 31,833.99, and NSE Nifty fell 32.15 points at 9,984.80.

Top gainers included Bharti Airtel, TCS, HPCL, BPCL, Wipro, Bharti Infratel, M&M and HUL while BHEL, Tata Motors, Yes Bank, SBI, Vedanta, Dr Reddy's Labs and Lupin declined.
