Indian market closes in red, Sensex down by more than 500 points

Mumbai, Jan 4 (IBNS): Moving down by more than 500 points, the Indian market closed in the red on Monday with the Sensex standing at 25623.35 points.

Sensex moved down by 537.55 points, it closed at 25623.35 points.

Nifty stood at 7791.30 points, down by 171.90 points.
