Indian market ends Monday on positive note

Mumbai, Jul 3 (IBNS): The Indian market ended Monday on positive note, with BSE Sensex up 300 points at 31221.62 and NSE Nifty up 94.1 points at 9615.

With the launch of the One Nation One Tax policy through the Goods and Services Tax (GST) implemented since Saturday, July 1, the general sentiment has remained positive, according to market reports.

Some of the key stocks that ended Monday as gainers were ITC, Bharti Infratel, HeroMotocorp, Maruti Suzuki, Hindalco, Coal India and Infosys while NTPC, HCL Tech, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Lupin and Tata Motors declined.
