Indian Market: Rupee recovers by 12 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday recovered by 12 paise to 74.93 against the greenback in opening trade on the selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit improved owing to the weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in the stock market.
The rupee registered intraday high and low at 75.90 and 74.81 respectively, he added.
