Indian Market: Sensex at flat note, up 12 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Friday was seen on a flat note at 49,759.91, rising by 12 pts in opening session as buying was witnessed Materials, Consumer Discretionary Goods and Services, FMCG and Health Care stocks.

The Nifty too moved up by 15.20 pts to 14,889.

The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 49,796.15 and 49,499.99 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 14,895.45 and 14,806.35

respectively.

The Mid Cap was up by 0.17 pc and Small Cap by 0.68 pc.

In 30 scrips 16 advanced while 14 declined.

The gainers were Hind Unilever by 2.50 pc to Rs 2470, Sun Pharma by 1.95 pc to Rs 626.30, Titan by 1.53 pc to Rs 1597.90, HDFC by 1.19 pc to Rs 2532 and ITC by 0.89 pc to Rs 215.05.

The losers were Bajaj Finance by 1.75 pc to Rs 4942.10, NTPC by 1 pc to Rs 103.90, Ultracemco by 0.99 pc to Rs 6908.10 and ICICI Bank by 0.90 pc to Rs 511.55.
