Indian Market: Sensex closes all time high at 54,554.66 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday ended at a new peak at 54,554.66, up by 151.81 pts on the strength of Telecom, Technology and Energy stocks.

The Nifty too rose by 21.85 pts at 16,280.10.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 54,779.66 and 54,308.77 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 16,359.25 and 16,202.25 pts respectively.
