Indian market: Sensex down 126.72 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday slipped by 126.72 points to settle at 40,675.45 on profit-booking in Yes Bank, Tata Steel and M & M stocks.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too fell by 54 points at 11,994.20.

The Sensex registered day's high and low at 40,885.03 and 40,554.04 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 12,068.60 and 11,956.40 points respectively.
