Indian Market: Sensex falls 72.50 pts

Mumbai, Nov 18 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday fell by 72.50 points to settle at 40,284.19, snapping positive streak of last two sessions, following selling in Materials, Energy, FMCG, Auto and IT stocks.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too ended in red, easing by 1.20 points to 11,894.25.

The Sensex registered day's high and low at 40,542.40 and 40,221.97 points, respectively.

The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 11,946.20 and 11,867.60 points, respectively.
