Indian Market: Sensex zooms 1016.03 points

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday spurted 1016.03 points at close at 58,649.68 following gains in Auto, Technology, IT and Metal stocks amid positive Asian cues.

RBI which maintained its status quo also boosted investors sentiments.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too surged 293.05 points at 17,469.75.

The Sensex registered the days high and low at 58,702.65 and 58,122.27 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded the days high and low at 17,484.60 and 17,308.95 points respectively.
