Indian Rupee down 29 paise against USD

Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) The Rupee on Wednesday heavily down by 29 paise to 70.99 on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

In opening trade, the domestic unit slipped by 15 paise to 70.84.


Till the end of the day, it further lost by 29 paise to end negative at 70.99 as compared to its last close.


The local unit recorded day high and low at 71.02 and 70.76 respectively.


The Indian currency slid following firm Dollar against other world currencies,they added.
