Indian Rupee down 32 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday slid by 32 paise to 75.06 against the US Dollar on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The domestic unit that dropped 23 paise to 74.97 in opening trade further lost by 32 paise to close at 75.06 as compared to its previous close.
The local unit registered days high and low at 75.10 and 74.90 respectively.
The Rupee remained weak because of strong dollar against other world currencies amid weak equity market, dealers added.
