Indian Rupee ends almost steady at 74.19 against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Tuesday ended almost flat at 74.19, rising by two paise against the USD in closing session on selling of US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that gained nine paise to 74.13 in opening trade, finished almost flat at 74.19, up by two paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee was seen calm due to weak dollar against other world currencies amid positive equity market, dealer said.
The local unit registered days high and low at 74.21 and 74.16 respectively.
