Indian Rupee ends strong at 74.71 against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday registered a strong gain of 30 paisa to close firm at 74.71 against the US Dollar on buying of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
In opening trade, the domestic unit advanced 20 paisa to 74.81 against the green back.
Till the end of the session, it surged 30 paisa to finish at 74.71 as compared to its previous close.
The local unit registered days high and low at 74.87 and 74.67 respectively.
The Rupee bounced back owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid rebounding equity market, dealers added.
