Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday slipped by six paise to settle at 74.90, against the US Dollar on rising demand of the greenback by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit rose by three paise at 74.81, later it was declined and settled at 74.90, easing by six paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee was seen weak for the third straight session due to strong Dollar against other world currencies, the dealers further said.

It registered intra days high and low at 74.94 and 74.79 respectively, they added.
