Indian Rupee marginally up by 2 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday marginally up by two paise to 72.90 against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that slipped by 5 paise to 72.97 in opening session and closed positive at 72.90, advancing by two paise to 72.90 as compared to its last close.
The Rupee registered days high and low at 73.30 and 72.88 respectively.
The domestic unit went up because of weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong equity market, they added.
