Indian Rupee rallies 14 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The rupee on Tuesday advanced by 14 paise to close positive at 74.46 on selling of US dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The domestic unit that rose by 19 paise in opening trade slightly declined from opening level but ended positive only at 74.46, up by 14 paise as compared to its previous close.
The rupee gained owing to the weak dollar against other world currencies along with a strong stock market, dealers added.
The rupee registered intra-day high and low at 74.50 and 74.37 respectively, he added.
